Gary Vaynerchuk made a short video about why he's not angel investing as much anymore. The reason: too many B-players, or guys that would be great #2 or #3 men are trying to run companies.

In his words:

"There's a very distinct personality trait that you need to have in order to be a leader/CEO/co-founder/executor of a profitable business. It’s easy to go out, come up with a pitch, raise some money, and start a business... We’re going to see a lot (I mean an obnoxious amount) of companies going out of business because those people don’t have the stomach to navigate through the waters."

This can be said for junior resources and tech deals.
