North American Nickel (NAN:TSXV) 12 month chart

North American Nickel (NAN:TSXV) has released assay results from its Imiak Hill project.  The company intersected 24.75m of near solid to solid sulphide mineralization averaging 35-40% total sulphides.  There were two intervals contained within hole MQ-13-028 which included 17.91m of 40-45% sulphide and 2.4m of 50-60% sulphide.  Hole MQ-13-028 which was the deepest of four holes so far in the drill program that have returned significant sulphide intersections.  This extends the depth of known mineralization by 35m down plunge from hole MQ-12-026 to a total vertical depth of 185m.

North American Nickel chief executive officer, Rick Mark, stated: "We are extremely pleased with the continuity of the near-solid to solid sulphide mineralization at Imiak Hill that we have discovered this year. It has now been intersected from near surface to below 185 metres in depth, and the borehole survey tells us it remains open down plunge. That fits the nickel deposit model we are following.”

North American Nickel has drilled a total of 22 holes totally 3,711m and has delineated three, closely spaced, north-trending, near-vertically dipping, steeply south-plunging mineralized zones.

The company is up nearly 50% since August 23, 2013 (and up 15% on the day at the time of writing) when the company released hole MQ-13-026 which was 18.62m of sulphide mineralization averaging 40-45% total sulphides including numerous sections containing 65-80% sulphides.
