ccb_imgCanada Carbon (TSX-V: CCB), a Vancouver-based firm engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Ontario and Quebec, announced today that the company had commenced the second phase of drilling at their Miller Graphite project located in Quebec.

According to the news release, the campaign is intended to define the graphite mineralization at depth and along strike and to test three recently discovered VTEM anomalies.

Also, due to a previous exploration campaign finished late last summer where 595.3 metres of drilling produced multiple graphite intersections, the company believes there is a mineralized zone along the depth extension of VN2, and plans at least 470 metres of drilling to further define the size of the mineralized corridor.

The work is to be carried out by George Downing Estate Drilling (“GDED”) to a minimum of 1000 metres and is expected to last two weeks.

Canada Carbon CEO & Director, R. Bruce Duncan, commented, “We are pleased to have begun our second phase of drilling at Miller.”

He went on, “This program will confirm our expectations for the size and quality of the mineralized system beneath the VN2 showing which is already established to a depth of 39.3 meters.”

Then concluded “Also, our three priority-one drill targets with VTEM signatures are like those over known mineralization; therefore we anticipate new discoveries at these locations.”
