Island Gold Mine drill core

I used to jokingly characterize Canadian Juniors as three geologists with a mail drop in Vancouver. One is too old to travel, one is drilling in the jungle and the third is somewhere raising money. If that was ever correct, it is not correct today. A random selection of 21 out of 1180 companies listed on the Toronto Venture exchange showed the following breakdown among the CEO’s backgrounds:

Financial     12
Geology      4
Entrepreneur  4
Unstated      1

Out with the grizzled prospectors, in with the suits.
