Endeavour Mining (EDV:TSX) has added some depth to its roster by bringing on Ian Cockerill, Miguel Rodriguez and Frank Giustra to its strategic advisory board.  The three new members will replace Jorje L. Gamarci and Dr. Antony Harwood.  The board now consists of seven members: Michael Beckett (Chairman), Ian Cockerill, Frank Giustra, Ian Henderson, Wayne McManus, Miguel Rodriquez and Neil Woodyer (CEO & President).

For readers new to these names, Mr. Cockerill has over 40 years of experience and is the former CEO of Gold Fields Limited (GFI:US) - the $3.5 billion African-focused gold producer - and Anglo Coal Ltd.  Miguel Rodriguez is a globally recognized economist and former governor to the IMF, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank and has also been a director of Pacific Rubiales (PRE:TSX) since its inception.  Frank Giustra is a highly successful entrepreneur who helped to found Goldcorp (G:TSX)Silver Wheaton (SLW:TSX) and Pacific Rubiales (watch: A Billionaire’s Bet on Inflation).
