Copper and silver tycoon and environmentalist Ross Beaty

Dalradian Resources, a Toronto-based junior gold developer focused on the Curraghinalt deposit in Northern Ireland and led by CEO Patrick Anderson, welcomes one of the most influential investors in mining to its team Tuesday.

Veteran geologist and mining entrepreneur Ross Beaty, founder of Pan American Silver and the Lumina Copper franchise, will purchase 9.9% of Dalradian's stock directly from the company at a price of C$0.90 per unit consisting of one common share and one half purchase warrant exercisable for two years at $1.15.

Dalradian will use the net proceeds for exploration and development of the Company's Curraghinalt Gold Project and for general working capital purposes.

At the recent Vancouver Resource Investment Conference (VRIC15), Mr. Beaty commented that he wanted to increase his exposure to the junior gold sector at this time, citing low valuations. He already purchased 9.9% of Yukon gold developer Kaminak Gold for $6.76 million in July, 2014.

Here is an interview with Mr. Beaty at the recent VRIC15 conference:

Mr. Beaty's career and impressive investing track record is discussed in this 2013 interview.
