Mr. Molyneux is an experienced natural resources industry financier, executive and entrepreneur. He was appointed Chairman of Azarga Uranium following the completion of the merger with Azarga Resources Limited in October 2014, a company which he co-founded in mid-2012. Mr. Molyneux has served as Chairman of Celsius Coal (ASX:CLA) (December 2012 – present), Non-Executive Director of Goldrock Mines (TSX-V:GRM) (December 2012 – present) and Chairman of Azarga Metals (private). He also served as Non-Executive Director of Ivanhoe Energy (TSX:IE) (May 2010 – August 2014). Prior to founding Azarga Resources, Mr. Molyneux was President, CEO and Director of SouthGobi Resources (TSX:SGQ, HKEX:1878). Under his leadership, the company became the largest foreign operator in Mongolia’s coal sector. The company also completed a sovereign wealth fund financing and main board listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange and then subsequently Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to joining SouthGobi, Mr. Molyneux was Managing Director, Head of Metals and Mining Investment Banking, Asia Pacific, with Citigroup. In his position as a Specialist Resources Investment Banker he spent approximately 10 years providing advice and investment banking services to natural resources corporations. Mr. Molyneux holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Monash University in Australia.
