NexGen Energy (NXE:TSXV), one of the most promising uranium juniors in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan is out with impressive news (yesterday) that the strike length of the Rook 1 (Arrow) property has been extended. Drill hole AR-15-38 has extended the current strike length by 81 meters to the southwest from blockbuster hole AR-14-30 (46m grading 10.32% uranium).

Two dill holes (AR-15-37 and AR-15-38) have both intersected off-scale mineralization. The market will eagerly be awaiting assays from both holes.

As of February 8th, NexGen was 4,531.9 metres into the 18,000 m winter drill program at Arrow. Two drill rigs are currently active at Arrow with a third rig just added to commence drilling at the Radon target (400 metres along strike to north east of Arrow).

Garrett Ainsworth, NexGen's vice-president, exploration and development, commented, "This significant 81-metre step-out to the southwest of AR-14-30 into continuous high-grade mineralization with AR-15-38 represents a substantial step towards successfully executing our goal of building a significant resource at Arrow efficiently."
