I spent a couple hours re-skinning EnergyandGold.com this weekend.
I co-created the site 6 weeks ago with two of my best pals, Scott Armstrong and CEO Technician, and it has already clocked over 25,000 pageviews!
The idea behind it is to do two things well: commodities charts and profiles of compelling junior companies.
EnergyandGold will differ from CEO.ca only slightly, and some people have asked me what the hell am I doing creating a competitor to CEO.ca?
The truth is, I do not value top line page views, and believe that Scott and CEO Tech can build a more USA focused audience that is independent from and complimentary to what we do here.
The web site is using the free and incredible Virtue Theme by WordPress, which was tweaked slightly using their user friendly interface. I used to be an active web design salesman, and it would have taken our shop hundreds of hours to build a template as solid as what comes out of the box on WordPress (God bless open source technology).
The stock certificate style the theme was inspired by Bob Bishop's Gold Mining Stock Report, arguably the most successful mining stock newsletter ever (Bob called Aber Resources, a 50 bagger, and Diamond Fields, a 100 bagger back in the 1990s. Before he retired in 2006 (perfect timing), he was one of the first analysts to cover Virginia Gold's Eleonore project, one of the great discoveries of the past decade).
We hope EnergyandGold.com can be a fraction as successful as Mr. Bishop's letter.
There's a new bull market getting going in junior resource stocks, and EnergyandGold.com will be a part of it.
Go on over to the new site and consider a free email subscription.
