Just dropped off by the helicopter to do some soil sampling . (August 2015 photo credit Matt Fraser)

James here... A quick post letting you all know that I will be heading out in the field tomorrow morning for 10-14 days doing mineral exploration work. I will doing (IP) work on the Hot Bath property located close to Dease Lake, British Columbia.

I have had the opportunity a few times in the last couple years to get out in the field and do boots on the ground mineral exploration work (soil sampling and IP).

Induced polarization (IP) is a geophysical imaging technique used to identify subsurface materials, such as ore. The method is similar to electrical resistivity tomography, in that an electric current is induced into the subsurface through two electrodes, and voltage is monitored through two other electrodes. - Wikipedia

The property I will be working on was just option by Jaxon Minerals (JAX:TSXV) from a private mining company DeCoors Mining Corp. If you are interested in more details you can check the press release here.

We will be helicoptering into the project and setting up camp. I will have no access to internet and will be off the grid so no morning news posts from me. Honestly, it will be nice to disconnect for a while and take a break from looking at the screen.

I find analysing mining stocks its helps to get out in the field and get an on ground perspective of the business every once and a while by actually doing field work. Not many mining analysts have experience doing this.

Many members of CEO live have commented that the market will turn when the next exploration discovery is made. I am doing my best by being out in the field and you just never know.

I will see you all in 10-14 days.

Take care,

-James Fraser
